GO JUMP IN THE LAKE

Walk out the door and down the hill to your own private waterfront. Nobody else will be there except you and your guests. The lake is very shallow at the shoreline, so all ages can safely wade. Swim, relax in the sun, paddle a kayak, or launch your boat from our dock. Since it's a no-wake zone, your swimmers are safe from motorized watercraft, and the gentle slope of the lake bottom lets you wander into deeper water at your own pace.

COMMUNE WITH NATURE

There's plenty to do for playtime, and there's plenty more to appreciate when you can relax and take a look around. We prefer the sound of nature to the noise of civilization. Your wake-up call could be from one of the many songbirds who live with us around the chalet. Sip you morning coffee as you watch the flying predators (Eagles, Hawks, Ospreys) hunt for their first meal of the day. Take time for a second cup, and watch mama duck lead her ducklings on a paddle. A walk around the acre of hiking trails and shoreline will likely introduce you to many reptiles, amphibians, mammals, marsupials, insects, arachnids, and just about every kind of living creature -- but you might not see another human on your hike. It's like a nature camp getaway for big kids.
